Among the many great Washington golf courses, Bear Creek Golf Course in Winthrop should be on your bucket list. AAA has dubbed it a “hidden gem.”

Tucked away in the foothills of the beautiful Methow Valley is this golfing jewel. The beauty of the natural surroundings provides a perfect setting for this challenging 9 hole golf course. Those who choose to play 18 holes are quite impressed with the variety offered by the unique placement of back 9 tees.

Whether you’re passing through Winthrop or the Methow Valley on a casual, recreational trip, taking a summer to golf courses throughout Washington, or have made golfing at Bear Creek part of your family’s annual summer activities, we want you to know you’re welcome here and we look forward to serving you.

Fun little 9 hole course! Playing it through 2x from their different tee boxes definitely makes it feel like you’re not playing the same course twice. Fair prices as well which is always nice! In great shape right now. Greens were running smooth, maybe a tad slow. I’d return, and in fact will return for another go tomorrow.

Nice little course. 9 holes but you can make it 10 by playing different tee boxes they has set up and it can change some of the yardage and angles by 50+ yards. Greens were in good shape for the price of the course. Club house was nice with food and drinks. The people working (owning) were awesome too. I’ll play again when I’m back in the area.

Great little course, operated by the absolute nicest people. Loved our visit, can’t wait to return.

Beautiful course! When was the last time you played a 538 yard par 5? Local course is very well maintained, great new team running things.

Golf course is amazing. It is a nice gem tucked away in the Methow Valley. Pro shop has most of what you need! Golf clubs are also available for rent if you are traveling without them. They have event space available for rent as well. Check it out!

This is a Must play tough golf course, Once you play it you’ll be back. Kept green and beautiful all season long.
